Between 7 and 12 July 2008, Joseph Prince was in Sydney, Australia. He had been invited by Pastor Brian Houston, senior pastor of Hillsong Church, to be one of the keynote speakers at the Hillsong Conference. This year’s conference was held at the Acer Arena, in the Sydney Olympic Park.
Wednesday, 9 July 2008, was a busy day for Joseph as he was scheduled to share at three sessions. In the afternoon, he shared at a Key Business Elective and an informal Question-And- Answer (Q & A) session. Approximately 1,000 delegates attended each session. Joseph’s last speaking engagement for the day was the night rally in the main arena where a 22,000-strong congregation had gathered to hear the gospel of grace.
On Thursday, 10 July 2008, Joseph ministered at another night rally. The more than 22,000 delegates present were blessed by his sharing on the calling and identity of the end-time generation from the biblical story of Joseph and Benjamin. On the last day of the conference, 11 July 2008, Joseph preached during a Worship Elective which impacted about 1,500 delegates.
Joseph Prince was in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 6 to 9 June 2008. He had been invited by Pastor Yesaya Pariadji, senior pastor of Gereja Tiberias Indonesia (Tiberias Church Indonesia), to be the guest speaker at
Tiberias Church’s Boanerges (Youth) Festival 2008. Themed Empowering For Excellence And Greatness,
this year’s youth festival was held at two venues.
On 7 June 2008, Joseph preached two sessions at Istora Senayan. About 3,000 participants
gathered to hear the gospel of grace during the morning session. For the evening session, the crowd
swelled to some 15,000 participants. There was a strong healing anointing during this session and many
were healed at the end of the service.
On 8 June 2008, the festival was held in Balai Sarbini, a concert hall located in the heart of Jakarta. There,
Joseph preached two sessions and his message impacted about 2,500 participants at each service.
All four messages by Joseph were simultaneously interpreted into Bahasa Indonesia.
From 30 April to 7 May 2008, Joseph Prince was in the Netherlands to preach at Eurospirit 2008. He was also the guest speaker at a Sunday service in Jong en Vrij
(Young And Free Church).
Held in a hotel in Leiden, which is about
36km away from the capital Amsterdam,
this year’s Eurospirit conference saw
Joseph preach three sessions in all.
Each session was attended by between
800 and 2,000 conference delegates.
On the afternoon of 4 May 2008,
Joseph ministered to some 600
congregation members in Jong en Vrij.
From 26 February to 6 March 2008, Joseph Prince was in Johannesburg, a bustling city in South Africa. He was there on special invitation by Pastor Ray McCauley, senior pastor of Rhema Church, to be one of the key guest speakers at Rhema Conference 2008.
Organised by Rhema Ministries, this year’s Rhema Conference was themed “Radical Christianity” and Joseph preached on God’s radical grace to both local and overseas delegates over two sessions.
On Sunday, 2 March 2008, Joseph also shared the gospel of grace with the Rhema Church congregation over two morning services.
In total, about 24,000 people were impacted by Joseph’s messages and 60 people received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
From 28 January to 3 February 2008, Joseph Prince was at Oslo Kristne Senter (OKS) in Oslo, Norway. Specially invited by Pastor Åge Åleskjær, founder and pastor of OKS, Joseph was there to be the key speaker at a Leaders Conference.
Over four days, Joseph preached a total of six sermons. Around 800 to 1,000 individuals attended the three day sessions. The three evening sessions saw people coming in crowds of at least 1,500 each time, and these services were also broadcast live over the Internet.
Joseph Prince was in Adelaide, South Australia, from 12 to 18 January 2008, to speak at the Influencers Conference. He had been invited by Pastor Ashley Evans, senior pastor of Paradise Community Church, to be a key guest speaker at the conference.
Addressing about 4,500 people over three sessions, Joseph’s messages on the gospel of grace not only impacted the local church community, but also profoundly influenced the many prominent international ministry leaders present.
