Achieved ‘A Plus’ Grade For Challenging Course Despite Odds
Last year, I took a great leap of faith by taking up one of the most challenging courses for my undergraduate program. But I almost had to drop the course because I fell sick for a period of time. It was God who gave me the wisdom not to drop it. Otherwise, I would have forfeited the tuition fees along with having a withdrawal standing record on my transcript.
God also gave me the strength to persevere and finish my first research assignment with an “A” grade even though I couldn’t put too much effort into it. At that time, I had spent a lot of time taking care of my mother who had surgery. As a result, I neglected my studies. But I managed to finish all my assignments within a short amount of time. Thank God, my mother’s surgery was also a success and all her post-surgery tests turned out fine.
Finally, I made it to the final examination and received an “A plus” grade for the course. This is my second highest grade since I started my undergraduate program, the first one being a 100 percent score for a first-year Mathematics course. Hallelujah! God is good all the time!
Pastor Joseph Prince’s sermon videos on healing and rest have really caused me to understand that God is a good God who is ever compassionate toward His children. He never fails us even in the darkest of times!
