All Things Are Possible With God’s Favor And Grace
After being fired from two jobs, I believed that I was created a failure, and this was something that I could not get past, especially when I was going to a church that constantly put my failures and weaknesses before my face.
Because I was thinking thoughts of failure and condemnation, I couldn’t get to the place where I knew that God actually wanted to bless me with my heart’s desires. Even after my dad graduated from Bible college and the Word was being preached to me, I still did not believe that Jesus died on the cross so that I could be blessed emotionally, mentally and financially!
God began changing my mindset when I worked as a juvenile probation officer for four years. I went back to school to get my Master’s Degree to be a teacher during this time. Even when everyone, the economy in the United States and cutbacks in education kept telling me that I would not be able to find a teaching job, I knew that I was doing the right thing.
While talking to my mom about all the negative words people were speaking, she introduced me to Joseph Prince’s Ministry. I started listening to how “with God ALL things are possible”. I decided to shut all the negativity out and listen to the truth of God’s Word!
After I graduated with my Master’s Degree in December 2010, I had no job, and I had no place to live. God had been prepping me the whole time though. He provided a place for me to live “rent free” while I worked at a minimum wage job, substitute taught at schools and applied for teaching jobs.
I listened to Joseph Prince at the library almost every day since there was no Internet connection at home. I had to keep feeding myself with God’s favor and grace. I kept confessing God’s favor over my life and His goodness toward me.
After six months of doing this, and almost wanting to give up, I got a phone call from a school in Arizona. They interviewed me over the phone and they offered me the job the very next day! I felt like I stuttered and stammered through that whole interview but they wanted me anyway! My dream has always been to live in Arizona since I was a little girl. I can say with boldness now that WITH God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. I feel like I’m in a dream right now. I’m getting ready to move out West in July and start a brand new chapter in my life at Sunrise Elementary School. It’s a new day! Thank you for speaking God’s message of GRACE and FAVOR!
