I had been struggling in a job where I was severely underpaid. I pleaded with my manager time after time for a pay increase, but he said that while the company recognized my exceptional performance, they could not afford to give me an increase.

One day, I read Pastor Prince’s Daily Grace Inspirations devotional titled “Ask Big.” In the devotional, Pastor Prince referred to the verse in John 14:13—“And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” He instructed us to write down our requests to God. So I wrote down numerous requests in my journal, one of which was an increase in my salary to compensate me for my hard work and dedication.

Three days later, God answered this request. My manager came to tell me that I would receive an increase at the end of the month. How awesome is our God! God truly answers the prayers of His children when we seek and call on Him!
