Because of the loss of a child (the child died in my womb), I suffered numerous symptoms of serious medical and hormonal issues. Nonetheless, my husband and I decided not to have medical intervention and to stand on God’s Word instead.

Three months later, there were signs of another pregnancy. We had two sonograms done, none of which revealed a child. What they did reveal, however, were numerous cysts and a possible ectopic pregnancy. Four rounds of blood tests seemed to confirm the doctor’s concerns of possible hormonal issues.

We took the blood test reports and sonogram prints, wrote scriptures on them, and posted them around the house. During this time, thoughts of death would still creep in but we remembered Pastor Prince’s teachings and “played the right mental movies.” We also read those scriptures we wrote on the prints over and over whenever fear tried to make inroads.

After a week, we had another sonogram done. This time, it revealed only our precious baby girl. There were no cysts and no complications.

I remember one of the verses we wrote was 1 Peter 1:6—“…be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead…”—and God is so perfectly faithful. About a year ago, wonderful joy was brought into our lives through the birth of our beautiful daughter. Her genuine sweetness is overwhelming. She lights up every room she enters with her happiness and contagious smile.

I’m thankful for His love. I’m thankful for His grace that has produced this amazing life. I am truly honored to be a mother to such an amazing daughter. My husband and I are so thankful for Joseph Prince’s teachings. God had certainly used Joseph’s ministry to bring a great revelation of His grace to us. The way we viewed God for decades has totally been transformed. Through Christ, we are qualified for good things and our daughter is one of the many good things He has freely given to us.
