I live in Cape Town, South Africa, and am married to a wonderful God-fearing man. I also have two beautiful girls that I thank God for every day.

I am currently working for an environmental company. Although this is such a great company to work for, I have to drive almost two hours each day to and from work, through four major highways into the city to get to work. This had been getting me down, as the travelling to and from work each day was tiring me out and also affecting my family life.

I decided to trust God and pray about this. I have read Joseph Prince’s books, namely, The Power of Right Believing and Unmerited Favor, as well as listened to many of his CDs while driving to and from work. This has really increased my faith in Jesus to believe what He has accomplished at the cross for me. I decided to trust God for a breakthrough and kept on believing and listening to the messages.

On January 1, 2015, I received my daily devotional with the Scripture, Isaiah 43:19—“Behold I am doing a new thing, now it springs forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” The same Scripture verse also came up in so many messages at church, on the radio, in other devotionals, and even in a dream.

Then, some time in the beginning of February, I met with an accident and my car was written off by the insurance company, as the cost to repair my vehicle exceeded its value. I trusted in God and prayed for Jesus to take care of the situation. In the midst of this, my husband and I came across a job advertisement for a position similar to what I was doing for a company that was situated just fifteen minutes away from my home. I was at first quite apprehensive to apply but with prompting from my husband, I decided to send my résumé to the company.

At the end of February, I received a phone call from the company to come for an interview. The interview was quite grueling but I trusted the Lord for favor. I was amazed at how quickly God worked as the company called me at the end of the day requesting my work references and all my necessary documentation. By the end of the week, I completed a criminal check, a psychometric testing for the job, and received a job offer.

The company not only offered me a higher salary than my previous organization, but also a car allowance, housing subsidy, medical insurance, travelling and cellphone allowance, and other great benefits. How majestic is His name, Jesus, my provider! God not only answered my prayer for a new job closer to home, but has also provided for a new car and more than I ever could imagine or dream of. I believe with all my heart that God hears our prayers and answers in His time!

I know I am the disciple whom Jesus loves and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. As Jesus is so am I in this world. God bless you abundantly!
