Blessed With A Dream Job Before Graduation
I am a final year undergraduate at National Technological University. Due to the bleak outlook of the economy, many of my university friends are worried about getting a job upon graduation. However, I trusted Daddy God’s love and goodness.
Last month, you preached a sermon titled, None of Us, All of Christ. During the sermon, you mentioned trusting in God’s favor for job interviews. You said that God will supply us with the right words at the right time and so we should not worry. I received those words for myself because I had a job interview that week with a government organization that I wanted to join. I was really excited by what you said and felt really loved and cared for by my heavenly Abba.
As I was preparing for the interview, I kept recalling the sermon that you preached and what you had said about trusting God’s favor. Now, I am someone who gets nervous easily and a friend also warned me that my interviewer was “nasty.”
But on the day of the interview, I was unexpectedly calm and collected, despite being faced with challenging questions. In fact, words just flowed out of my mouth in response to every question from the interviewer. I didn’t even have to rely on what I had prepared beforehand to say. This all goes to show that I cannot, but Jesus can! He provides over and above when the time comes. I even felt very joyful after the interview.
I had my doubts while waiting for the results of the interview. But I thank God that He used people around me to remind me of His goodness and to focus on Him. And early this month, I received an offer to join the government organization upon my graduation!
I recall asking the Lord for a job before my graduation and now He has over-supplied me with one that has good working hours and a good starting salary. I am truly thankful for all His goodness and His love toward me!
Thank you, Pastor Prince, for preaching the truth and for being a wonderful blessing to my family and me!
