I decided to go to university after completing high school. Without any career in mind, I was confused as to what course to pursue in university.

I registered for every university in my city except for one, which I thought was impossible to get into given its high standards. Directionless, I tried different universities and the different courses available, except medicine. I spent not more than one month in each course before switching to another one, and this continued for a while.

In 2014, I listened to one of Pastor Prince’s sermon titled, Step Into God’s Greater Glory. Shortly after that, I woke up one morning with a sudden desire to study medicine and help others. It was an idea I used to dislike, but within one night, Abba Father worked a fresh desire in my heart and mind. Following that, He confirmed that desire with signs everywhere. Whether it was on the Internet, television, or radio, everything around me pointed to me becoming a doctor!

The desire was so strong that I applied to enter medical school. The first school that I applied to rejected me. However, I was reminded of the other university I never thought was possible for me to get into. So I prayed, “Abba Father, if You want me to be a doctor and if You want me to study there, then help me to get accepted because I have not had the time to study much till now.”

I sat for three mandatory tests and remember praying before each test, “Lord Jesus, this is Your test, help me please.” In the end, I received high scores and was accepted into the university to study medicine! Everything has been flowing smoothly ever since and indeed, it has been a year of greater glory and open doors in my life!

Now, I am at the end of my first semester and for the first time in seven years, my grades stand at ninety-over percentage points. This is really by the grace of God and not my efforts. Thank You, Abba Father!
