Blessed With New Home
During a recent vacation, my ex-fiancé struck me on the jaw in front of my children. I was living with him during that period even though being a believer, I knew it wasn’t God’s best to cohabit with a partner without being married. I decided there and then that I was going to move out of his home and follow God.
My mother immediately booked another room for my children and me so that we’d be kept safe from my ex-fiancé. The next day, my amazing stepfather drove through the night to bring me and my children home.
The following day, my dad said we were going for a ride, blindfolded. After reaching our destination, he helped me out of the truck, took off my blindfold, and said, “Welcome to your home.” I was stunned as he handed me the keys to my new place!
Who would have thought that a domestic assault would lead to something like that? To think that three months before this blessing took place, I had wished I could live in a relative’s vacant property that my sister had moved into. Now, God has provided me with a beautiful home, paid for in full after I decided to follow Him! My awesome mom even decorated a special room just for me to spend time with Jesus. God has blessed me and worked all things together for good (Rom. 8:28). What amazing grace!
Through this, I have learned that God rewards his children when they believe and trust in Him. Seek Him first and all things will fall into place! I’d also like to encourage anyone reading this testimony to believe that God knows how to give you the absolute best. Don’t ever believe the lie that you’re unworthy. Jesus willingly went to the cross and took lashes on His back for you. He loves you!
Praise God for His mercy and grace. And thank you, Pastor Prince, for your ministry. With your teachings, I have learned and grown so much in Christ over the past months, more than I’ve ever had in thirty years of my life. All praise to our awesome God!
