Clear Weather And Smooth Wedding After Declaring The Word
My son got married in the Dominican Republic in November 2014. When we arrived on a Monday, it rained and continued to rain every day, right up to the rehearsal dinner on Wednesday. There were concerns that there would be rain on the wedding day.
My initial response was to have a plan B, just in case it did rain. But immediately, the Word of God came to me that we would have what we say. So I spoke up and said it would not rain on my son’s wedding day. After the rehearsal dinner, I prayed and declared that as Jesus is so am I in this world. I believed that the sky would hold the rain and the sun would shine more brightly than it has since we arrived.
On the day of the wedding, I woke up and took the Holy Communion, declaring that as Elijah said it would not rain, it would not rain for the remainder of the time we were on the island, especially during the wedding.
When I looked outside, the sun was at its brightest and the sky was crystal clear. My son’s wedding went smoothly and I could feel the presence of the Lord. But on the day we were to leave, as soon as we alighted from the bus and stepped into the airport, it began to rain. I shouted, “Thank You, Jesus,” in the airport, which caught the attention of everyone.
Pastor Prince, I have been following your teachings on the Word of God for a few months now and through the Word, I have come to realize that it is all because of Jesus and not me. Since then, my faith has increased. I am especially thankful for the teaching on tithing and biblical meditation. Continue to teach the message of grace so others can be delivered from teachings that mix God’s law and grace. I have now learned to rest in His goodness.
