Freed From Drug Addiction And Restored With Baby
When I was a teen, I was baptized and wanted to be a missionary. However, I lost sight of God along the way. I bore a child at the age of twenty-one but my marriage became abusive and I used drugs to escape my troubles. Eventually, I was addicted to drugs and became lost in that lifestyle.
As my daughter grew older, I began to see that she was following my reckless lifestyle. I knew I had to change my ways and quit doing drugs. But it was too late. My daughter miscarried the day she found out she was pregnant and was told she could never
conceive again. Pain and sorrow drove her to heroin and suicide but she survived by the grace of God.
I felt very guilty because of her ordeal and the burden of the guilt became too much to bear. One night, I came across Pastor Prince’s broadcast while watching television. His preaching
grabbed my heart and undivided attention as I learned that God is my rescuer and I could cast my burdens upon Him. I decided to give myself to God in prayer and rest in His faithfulness.
Barely a year later, my daughter experienced a turnaround in her life. She managed to conceive and gave birth to a beautiful, healthy daughter. She is also freed from drug addiction and now shares about God and His blessings in her life. On top of that, she is filled with a kind, gentle love—something I had never seen in her before.
My faith in God continues to grow as I listen to Pastor Prince’s sermons. Today, I’m no longer burdened by guilt. My sister, who used to struggle in life, has also become a believer after hearing about God’s grace and blessings in my life. She now prays every day.
Thank you, Pastor Prince, for preaching the gospel to many who have lost their way. It has helped people like me discover our worth and value in Christ.
