Daughter Returned Home
I am a thirty-five-year-old mother with three wonderful children. Two of them are from a previous marriage.
In 2009, when my daughter was seven, my ex-husband wanted her to live with him. I sought the counsel of a lawyer and realized that not agreeing to my ex-husband’s request would involve a drawn-out court battle that was beyond my means at that time. This wouldn’t be good for my children.
My daughter went to live with her father but her attitudes began changing over three years. Her father had remarried and his household had become a toxic environment for her. Whenever she visited me, she would cry terribly whenever she had to leave.
Then I heard Pastor Prince’s sermon about turning my children over to the Lord because He loves them better than I can. I rested in the fact that she was taken care of by Jesus and prayed that she would be restored back to me.
When she came to visit during Christmas in 2014, she found it very difficult to leave. She had become so unhappy and miserable at her father’s place.
In the beginning of 2015, I saw Pastor Prince’s message for the theme of 2015 and learned that it was going to be the year of His restoration. I knew then that I was going to have my daughter back.
Shortly after I heard the message, my ex-husband called and told me that my daughter wanted to move in with me. She did so at the end of February and has lived with me ever since. Today, there is such a light and joy in her heart.
The Lord has blessed me with all my children under one roof and I couldn’t be happier. Praise Jesus!
