Delivered from Breast Cancer
I am a Filipino foreign worker based in Singapore. About 2 years ago, I felt a strong conviction in my heart to get my breast checked. I decided to check and saw a small spot of discharge from my breast. Upon heading to office, I looked for our in-house doctor to seek advice. Even though the doctor did not feel any lump nor see any discharge, she referred me to a breast specialist for further checks.
The specialist immediately asked me to do a mammogram and an ultrasound. It was confirmed that I had a breast lump, and I was advised to do a biopsy to find out if the lump was cancerous. The biopsy result showed it was cancerous. My whole body went numb upon learning the diagnosis, but I didn’t accept it in my mind.
I was listening to Pastor Prince’s sermons and meditating on the Word and promises of God. I was scared of what would happen next but the Lord reminded me of His promise that He would fight this battle, that He would never leave me nor forsake me.
The 1st option was to undergo an operation to remove the lump and to check the lymph node and the marginal zone to see if the cancer had spread. Thank God the cancer had not spread to other parts of my body.
During that period, I soaked myself in the Word of God and partook of the holy Communion every day. I prayed and told the Lord I didn’t want to undergo chemotherapy or radiotherapy. The Lord reminded me of His word: “no weapon formed against you shall prosper” and “You prepare a table for me in the midst of my enemies.”
When I went to my surgeon to get the final report, she told me that the tumor had been totally removed and cleared, and I did not need to undergo chemo or radiotherapy. Praise be to Jesus! Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life!
Thank you, Pastor Prince, for the encouraging Word from the Lord. Truly nothing is impossible to God, and all His promises are yes and amen.
