Desire To Sin Flees When God’s Word Is Preached
I listen to your messages non-stop pretty much whenever I have any free time unless I am listening to praise and worship music. It has gotten to the point where I will even use some of your quotes when talking with my family members, such as "Nothing wrong with God. Nothing wrong with His Word. And through the blood of Jesus, nothing wrong with you! Receive!"
Well, tonight, I was praising God without any CDs playing in the background and then I stopped and started to sort of think about some things and some worries crept in, and I began to be tempted to return to some old, bad habits.
I went to put on one of your CD messages from the series, Unshakable—Standing Strong In Difficult Times. As soon as your first words resounded through the atmosphere and touched my ears, the desire to sin fled from me.
All you said was, “Church, turn to your neighbor and say, ‘You are in for a treat’”. I really wasn’t expecting it. I had planned to just start listening and engaging myself to a positive message to drown out the thoughts in my head, which I figured might take a few minutes, but the effect was instantaneous and was so striking to me that I had to write you.
I thank God for you and pray for you to shine brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. God bless you, Pastor Prince. I love you.
