One of our dogs, an Australian Shepherd, suffered a knee injury while it was playing in the backyard. The injury left him with a very bad limp.

We took him to the veterinarian who examined him and concluded he had a bruised knee. We were given medicine for our dog and told to keep him rested. We were told he would be better in a week but a week went by and instead of getting better, his limp became worse.

We took our dog back to the veterinarian for X-rays. Our veterinarian and a canine orthopedic surgeon examined him and reviewed the X-rays but they could see no sign of damage. They were baffled and all they could do was send us home with more medicine for our dog.

Days passed and our dog was still limping. We were becoming frustrated. Just then, my wife and I remembered Pastor Prince saying in a sermon, “No problem is too big or too small for God. If it matters to you, it matters to Him.”

We began to press in to God’s Word and His grace. We saw in the Bible that He never forgets even the little sparrows. We also saw in the Bible that He preserves man and animal and we kept confessing Psalm 36:6, “O Lord, you preserve man and beast!”

Our dog’s knee condition started to improve although it wasn’t back to pre-injury conditions. We took him back to the veterinarian a week later for a follow up and more X-rays. The vet told us to “just keep doing what you’re doing” and so we kept pressing in, confessing, and meditating on God’s Word. And the more we pressed in, the more we saw the wonderful love of Jesus and the Father, and our frustration gave way to increasing faith. We just kept our eyes on Jesus and His Word.

A few days later, we returned home from work to find our dog walking normally. He was completely restored! It is so awesome to think that the Lord loves us so much that even our animals are covered by His Word. Jesus is just so good!

We hope this testimony brings encouragement to those who read it. Not only those who need a miracle for a pet or their livestock, but for anyone wondering if Daddy God really cares—the answer is yes!

Thank you, Pastor Prince, for preaching His grace. Prior to knowing your ministry, we were so bound by law, rules, and numerous steps we thought we had to take to earn God’s approval. We are still growing in His grace but since reading your books and listening to your messages, things are starting to turn around and we are seeing more and more victory.
