I am grateful to God for showing my wife and me the life-giving message of His grace through the ministry of Pastor Joseph Prince.

Before that, we were listening to a mixed message of grace and the law—that God blesses us according to our performance. To make matters worse, we were sometimes told that we could be involved in accidents, lose our lives, jobs, or loved ones if we were not serving or giving enough to God.

Imagine the condemnation my wife and I lived with. Though we were already pioneering churches, the honest truth was that the more we tried to please God with our works, the more frustrated we grew.

However, God did not forget us! In 2014, I came across Pastor Joseph Prince’s message on Daystar Network in Nigeria. Oh, the joy of discovering that God is already pleased with me because I am in Christ! I got my wife to start listening to the broadcasts too and we started watching Pastor Prince together on Daystar Network every night before going to bed. We also started downloading the podcasts.

We took the gospel truths from Pastor Prince’s books and declared them over ourselves and our family members. Sometimes, my wife would wake up in the middle of the night and lay her hands on me, declaring God’s favor over my life. Pastor Prince’s messages brought in the grace of God that changed our lives for the better.

First, God restored our hearts that were utterly broken. As we listened to Pastor Prince’s messages, we learned how much God values us. The more we discovered His love, the more we wanted to serve Him. Next, the Lord blessed me with a less stressful but better-paying job.

Believe me, the gospel of grace has liberating power! We told our friends about the messages and directed them to the website where they could be downloaded. We have witnessed two marriages restored, breakthroughs in financial statuses in families, and know of pastors whose lives and ministries have been transformed just by reading Pastor Prince’s books and listening to his messages.

My wife’s mother, who didn’t have the opportunity to attend school, listens to Pastor Prince’s podcasts with an interpreter by her side. Five of her teenage grandchildren are now ardent followers of Christ through the teaching of the gospel of grace. Even my dad, who showed little interest in the gospel, is now asking questions whenever we play the messages in his office. We are believing firmly for his salvation to happen soon.

Today, I am part of a local church and I am giving with joy like never before. My marriage is sweet and the true gospel is prevailing among my family members and friends. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for sharing the liberating grace of Christ with us.
