In June 2013, I was almost dismissed from my company as some senior managers had wanted me out. Despite feeling unjustly treated, I did not react to their threats. I prayed and held on to Psalm 46:10 that says, “I will be still and know that He is God.”

By September 2013, just as the company was about to replace me, God opened up a project where the client specified that he only wanted to work with me. As this was an international project worth $40,000, it kept me engaged with the company till November that same year.

By early 2014, my managing director had created a new position within the company and I was subsequently promoted to fill that position. That put me in a position above those senior managers who had wanted me out.

To God be all the glory! In the midst of troubles, He has lifted me up! I praise God for His grace is more than sufficient for me!
