Faith Restored, Delivered From Breast Cancer
Eighteen years ago, I was an elder in a church. After a period of great difficulty in my life, I entered into a depression that consumed my entire world and being. Because of that, I stopped going to church, stopped taking phone calls, and turned to alcohol.
I suffered through this for eight months. Finally, I got on my knees and asked God to bring me home because I could not live like this. However, God immediately delivered me from the depression and comforted me through a revelation that He had been with me all the time.
I went back to church and shared this testimony of God's love, and how He had reached out and touched me in a very special way. Although my testimony had blessed some members who were able to identify with what I’d shared, I was condemned for allowing the depression to settle into my life and my church privileges were removed. I soon stopped attending church.
Pastor Prince, finding your television ministry has opened my heart once again to hear and receive God’s Word through godly leadership. I realized that God has never left me, nor had I ever left Him. I was encouraged to once again make an effort to become part of a local church community and I have become actively involved in sharing God’s goodness with others.
In November 2012, I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductile Carcinoma HER-2/neu, a type of breast cancer that was difficult to treat and very likely to recur. But at that time, God spoke to me and assured me that this condition was not going to lead to death. He gave me the faith to believe for my complete healing. I had no chemo or radiation therapy and took no medication. I only went through a minimally invasive lumpectomy and have been cancer free since. My health has also been restored in many other areas.
I pray that I will find a church that preaches the gospel of grace.
