Fire in Garage Prevented from Spreading to Home
One recent morning at 2 a.m., my husband and I were awakened by the sound of fire trucks outside our home. Unbeknownst to us, our boat, boat structure, and garage were on fire. In the garage was a beautiful Mustang given to my husband by his father.
We saw many firemen coming out of the garage as that was their first priority in fighting the fires. They said the blaze could be seen as they turned into our road about half a mile away. The fire was eventually put out, and we lost the boat, its building, and part of the garage. The car was saved with almost no visible damage.
In the aftermath, we checked our security cameras and discovered the blaze was first picked up at 1.37 a.m. The 1st firetruck arrived 10 minutes later. 2 more trucks arrived minutes later. We got out there at 2.10 a.m. The fire was put out by 3.30 a.m. All the firemen said they did not know how the garage was still standing with the roof intact. But we know!
We also learned that it was a passerby who saw the fire from the road and stopped to call the fire station. This person even waited till the trucks showed up before leaving. Pastor Prince, you talk about being placed at the right time at the right place!
There was also no wind at that time, so the fire did not spread to our home that’s less than 10 feet away. Jesus held back the fire long enough for the firemen to arrive. We are so thankful for His protection and favor! We asked the Lord to bless abundantly the person who made the call. We believe the Lord had sent this person, who could have been an angel!
All praise, glory, and honor to our Lord Jesus. Amen!
