Freed From Pornography After Encountering Grace

I’m twenty years old and for many years, I struggled with an addiction to pornographic books. I was in denial because I thought I was only reading novels and not actually watching pornography. Oh, how wrong I was! As a result of the exposure to pornographic material, I also struggled with masturbation and was caught in a vicious “sin-confess-repent-sin” cycle and a whole lot of self-loathing and emptiness.

But thanks to the preaching of the gospel of grace, I received a revelation of God’s endless love and grace. I am now elated to say that I am completely freed from the addiction to pornography and masturbation! Even my thoughts now line up with the Word and when temptation arises, I assert and reiterate my righteousness in Christ Jesus through the freedom that I have found in His love and grace.
