Gave Birth to Baby Girl after Receiving Promise

My husband and I dreamed of having children, but due to infertility issues, we could not get pregnant for years despite various fertility treatments. During this difficult and emotional time, I kept listening to Joseph Prince to keep me encouraged and to help keep my eyes fixed on Jesus.

One evening, I was watching a Joseph Prince sermon on television. My husband, who decided to come home a bit earlier from work that day, joined me. Pastor Prince talked about Elisha, who told the Shunammite woman, “This time next year, you will hold a son in your arms.” He then looked into the camera and said, “There are people watching at home who also need to hear that this time next year, you will have a child in your arms.”

I knew that word was meant for us, and we grabbed hold of the promise. Although we waited another 2 years and had to undergo more fertility treatments, we knew our baby was on the way. When doubt and emotions tried to reign, we reminded ourselves of our promise, and it gave us courage and peace of mind to persevere.

Not long ago, our beautiful baby girl was born. Thank You, Jesus! And thank God for the availability of wonderful doctors and medicine.
