I’d heard the gospel of grace in my former church but yet, I wondered why I was not living a victorious life. As a result, I developed a huge hunger to experience the Lord’s goodness and started listening to Pastor Joseph Prince’s messages on Daystar Television. He expounded on Jesus Christ and God’s heart of love for me in every message.

I used to think that God flogs His people with poverty, joblessness, and sicknesses, but after listening to Pastor Prince’s message on the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15, I discovered that God loves me and I started meditating on His love for me.

I realized that God’s love has made me righteous through Jesus’ finished work on the cross. His love has also given me the spirit of sonship. Through listening to the messages, I am able to let my mind dwell on God’s love for me, instead of striving or struggling for His love and blessings.

As I listened to Pastor Prince’s power-packed messages on TV every day, I felt my life getting brighter. At that time, I was a casual worker in my company. Not long after, I was called in for a job interview for a permanent position.

After the interview, as I was walking out, I heard the interviewers remark to each other that I was “talking rubbish.” I took that to mean that my chance for success was slim. But I continued reminding myself of God’s love for me through His promises in the Bible, and that Christ has borne the shame of losing this job opportunity at the cross.

After a week, I decided to call the human resource department to check the result of the interview. The lady in charge apologized for not contacting me earlier. She said that I did very well in the interview and that my interviewers liked me. I knew God’s love had turned the unfavorable situation into a favorable one, even when I was not around to fend for myself.

As a result, I was employed and received a double promotion twice within two years. In my last promotion, my line manager had actually recommended me for just one level of promotion. However, when the recommendation reached my managing director—whom I had never met before—it was changed to a double-level promotion. Truly, there is no better life than one swimming in God’s love!

My wife and I also depend on the power of the Holy Spirit for healing by partaking of the Holy Communion. Each time we partake, we do it with the revelation that we are righteous and can receive every good gift because Jesus is our overpayment. As a result, we experience healing in our bodies at all times.

I watch Pastor Prince on TV, I download his messages on my phones, and I also read his books. God has really blessed my family and me through his ministry. My new church is also preaching sermons based on Pastor Prince’s messages. We may be a small church, but God has been blessing us every day!

I thank God for His mercies endure forever. His love is more than I can express in words.
