God’s Grace Brings Timely Provisions
My husband and I are self-employed and paychecks can be few and far between. I often find myself fretting over our lack of money and dwindling resources.
Recently, I found myself troubled over our lack. I then remembered something I’d heard in one of Pastor Joseph Prince’s messages about prospering in areas of our life where we do not worry. So I told myself to stop worrying and instead, have faith in God and believe Him for His provision.
That very morning, I was looking through some unopened bills on my desk and a handwritten envelope caught my attention. We were about to leave our house, but I decided to open it anyway. Much to my amazement, it was a refund check for $1,500 from a title company we’d used for a refinance on our house way back in 2004! We had no idea it was coming and they had apparently been trying to track us down as we’d moved.
I can’t tell you how many times this has happened to us. Whenever I start to worry, I tell myself to stop and rest in God’s provision and presto, I get some freelance work, or an unexpected check arrives, or an old client calls up unexpectedly. I love it! God's grace is perfect.
