God says nothing is impossible with Him and truly nothing is. In early December last year, our bathroom had an ant infestation. As I did not have access to any insecticide then, the ants had their way, walking in a path in and around the hand basin for two weeks.

Over time, I noticed that the numbers had increased considerably. I got worried because mine is an old house and we once had a problem of ants coming out in droves and covering an entire wall a few years ago. I decided to do what I was led to do then—I prayed and took authority in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit in me, I commanded the ants to leave.

When I went back into the bathroom a short while later, there was even more frenzied activity and a lot more ants. At first, I thought my prayer had the opposite effect. I put on my spectacles to observe the situation more closely and was blown away by what I saw. The ants were escorting the queen out from somewhere behind the basin, up across the tiles, and out through the underside of the window frame. They all kept moving in that direction until they all left.

After that, I still saw the odd ant here and there in the bathroom and I continued to invoke the power of the Holy Spirit in bringing about their exit. Not long after, I did not spot any more ants. Praise GOD! Thanks be to a miracle-working God, who still does today what He did for His people thousands of years ago, and who has given us authority to exercise dominion on earth.
