Grace Opened Doors And Turned Things Around
I was sentenced to prison in 2008. While I was in prison, I turned to Jesus and He carried me through my time in jail.
When I was released on probation in 2010, my probation officer had told me that no one would hire me based on what I was charged with. However, I told him that I would rely on God to answer my prayer for a job.
Jesus answered my prayer and opened a door for me. I applied to an American company via an online application. The boss in my region listened to me while I explained my situation and my charges. He was impressed with my honesty and offered me the job.
He turned out to be a hard-to-please boss. I thought that I would get fired for the errors I’d made on the job, so I prayed to Jesus. This year, I received an email from my boss that I was doing a good job and was a blessing to him. He also said that he had made a good decision in hiring me.
I praise the Lord for opening that door for me in 2010. I started listening to Joseph Prince last year and things have been turning around since. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for teaching the gospel of grace. I give praise to Jesus for all that I’ve learned about His grace.
