Grace Revolution At Home And At Church
One day in November 2014, I came home from school and discovered the grace message, and that message has been changing my life ever since. I am a full-time student who has grown up in the ministry. I was originally from American Samoa and my parents are pastors of a church in a small village back home. I have been taught the Bible my whole life.
Despite that, the grace message I discovered overwhelmed me and made my spirit thirsty and hungry for more. Pastor Prince said, “Grace is not a subject, it is a Person,” and those words stuck with me.
From that day on, I started listening to his sermons and began redefining my purpose in life. I shared some of his teachings with my older brother, who is studying religion at the state university and it helped him with most of his homework.
In the summer break of 2015, my brother and I had the chance to go back home. It was then that we introduced the message of grace to our parents and their ministry.
My mom was crying when I told her the story of the woman caught in adultery. She had been praying for years for an answer to why Jesus bent down and wrote on the stony ground. Pastor Prince’s teaching gave her that answer and also answered many other questions that she had.
When we went back to school, we left knowing that the message our parents are now teaching back home in our small village is His grace. There is definitely a grace revolution going on there now!
