Graduated With Highest Grade
Some time ago, my father, who is the leader of our church, called our congregation to embark on a challenge together. We were asked to read one devotional a day (for a hundred consecutive days) from Joseph Prince’s book, 100 Days Of Favor.
I received my book earlier and had a head start. As I read it each day, I found myself looking forward to reading it more and more. I was still in high school at the time and would read it in the parking lot before the school bell rang.
I believe my classmates thought I was going crazy for “talking to myself” back then, when in fact I was reading aloud to get the Word down into my spirit. Since I started meditating on God’s love and favor, I’ve seen an exponential increase of God’s favor in my life!
For example, I’ve witnessed unfavorable situations turn out well for me. When others asked how I did it, I would sincerely say it was all God’s grace! I’ve also had the opportunity to share God’s grace with other youths who have not heard of it before.
I just graduated as valedictorian of my class recently. It was truly by His grace that I was able to perform well as a student and graduate with such honor. I was so overwhelmed by His goodness that I didn’t hesitate to give Him honor throughout my farewell speech.
Because of this, I’ve been recognized in our county’s newspaper for the heart behind my speech. This has never happened to any school in our area before, and my entire speech was quoted, giving others an opportunity to be blessed by the story of God’s grace in my life.
God has done so much for me that it’s overwhelming and I continue to thank Him for everything at every chance I get. Truly, He’s done wonders in my life. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for your fiery heart in teaching the grace of God. My life has been impacted forever!
