Several months ago, I requested for prayer for my Bible professor who had been diagnosed with an aggressive and inoperable brain tumor. He was losing his hearing in his right ear and was told that removing the tumor would cause further brain damage. The prognosis was bleak.

My Bible class prayed for him and I declared God’s goodness over him. Many people were telling him that his sickness was for God’s glory but I told my professor that it was NOT God’s will for him to be sick as, Jesus did not come to steal, kill, or destroy, but to give us abundant life. I kept on reminding him of God’s goodness and he finally found a doctor who was willing to operate on him. However, the doctor gave little hope for complete recovery.

Thanks to the grace of God, not only did my professor come out of the surgery with flying colors, but the doctors also reported that they were able to remove the whole tumor without causing any brain damage! My professor was even walking around and talking the very next day after the surgery.

Since then, he has returned to teaching in the university and his hearing in his right ear is also returning. He is now declaring God’s goodness to everyone he sees!

Before this incident, I would never have had the faith to request prayer, much less believe for a good report for such an ominous situation. However, this changed after I learned about God’s grace through Pastor Prince. It was through the teaching of the finished work of Jesus that I now realize HIS grace IS ALWAYS flowing for us to receive healing! Thank you for your prayers!
