On the morning of Christmas Eve in 2015, I experienced a sharp pain that ran from my lower back to my right hamstring. The pain limited my movement—I was unable to bend forward and had trouble squatting. In spite of the pain, I still managed to go to work that day but decided to rest early instead of celebrating Christmas Eve.

Things got worse the next morning. I had a hard time getting up from bed and could not stand or sit for long periods of time. So I spent most of the day just lying in bed.

The thought of how severe my condition was started to creep into my mind. I couldn’t afford to stay this way as I was the breadwinner for my wife and four children. I also did not want to lose the chance to earn extra income through overtime during the Christmas season. Endless worries and “what ifs” kept occupying my mind.

Being a regular reader and listener of Pastor Joseph Prince’s online resources, I decided to pray and declare that I’m healed because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross. I also partook of the Holy Communion several times over the next few days and even spoke the same words that Pastor Prince uses when he ministers the Holy Communion.

As a result, even though I did not experience complete healing, I was still able to work during the week leading to New Year’s Eve.

At the start of 2016, I came across one of Pastor Prince’s YouTube videos entitled Joseph Prince Prays For The Sick During Servers’ Retreat. I felt led to watch the video and was amazed to find him praying for people who were experiencing pain in their tailbone area when sitting down.

Right there and then, I knew God wanted to minister to me. When Pastor Prince in the video declared, “Healing is by grace, and grace, grace be upon them,” I received those words for my condition.

When I woke up the following day, I felt an urge to do some light exercises. Praise God, I found that I could sit down, stand up, and walk around without any pain! Hallelujah! Truly, God is my greatest physician.
