I’ve suffered from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) since I was a teenager. About 10 years ago, my doctor suggested I have a colonoscopy and endoscopy to see if they could find the cause. They found something that could possibly cause Crohn’s disease later in life, but everything else was normal.

Some time ago, I began experiencing a change in my bowel habits after I was prescribed antibiotics. Doctors I spoke to said the antibiotics given were notorious for destroying good gut bacteria. Not long later, I experienced some bleeding that alarmed me.

I booked an appointment to see a gastroenterologist, who advised me to undergo another colonoscopy to check for the source of the bleeding, growths, and any bowel disease. I was also advised to have blood tests.

One Sunday, I watched New Creation Church’s online service while getting ready to go to my local church. At the end of the service, Pastor Prince mentioned that someone had an intestinal problem that came up recently and encouraged that person to receive healing. I was overjoyed that God, in His mercy and grace, would single me out, and I claimed my healing. I continued to partake of the holy Communion. I also kept declaring that I am the righteousness of God in Christ and that as Jesus’ body was free of disease, so was mine.

A few weeks later, I went for the colonoscopy. The doctor confirmed my colon looked healthy, with no growths or hemorrhoids. My blood test and biopsy results came back normal. Also, they found no trace of anything that could cause Crohn’s disease. God had healed me of all the gastro symptoms I had previously!

I am so grateful and thankful for God’s mercy and grace that are new and fresh every day. All praise and glory to my heavenly Father!
