My husband and I have been married since 2011. We trusted God for a child. During the few years of waiting, I wondered if I would ever experience motherhood, hold my own baby in my own arms, and have that emotional and biological connection to my own child.

When I finally became pregnant, I felt pain in my lower abdomen during the thirtieth week of my pregnancy. I went to the hospital for a check-up. The midwife did a few tests, asked a few questions, and thought it best that we saw the doctor. I thought nothing of it and assumed it was a routine check. After waiting for a few hours, I was finally seen by a doctor who did a couple of tests. The results showed that I could be delivering anytime!

I was absolutely dazed and my heart froze with fear. The doctor said I would have to stay in the hospital for observation and receive a few injections. I thought they were meant to prevent early delivery, but I was wrong. Those injections were steroids meant to strengthen the baby’s lungs in the case of early delivery.

Before I headed to the ward, the Holy Spirit reminded me that if I did not want my son to be born early, I needed to declare what I wanted to see. That moment, my fear melted away and I set my mind on recalling the promises of God concerning my son. Before I slept that night, I declared that my son would be brought to full term. The next morning, I asked my husband to bring me some of Pastor Joseph Prince’s CD sermons on healing and divine health.

As I listened to his teachings, my faith and confidence in God were strengthened. I found the scriptures that I could declare regarding my situation from Exodus 23:25–26, NLT: “You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness. There will be no miscarriages or infertility in your land, and I will give you long, full lives.”

I also stood on Matthew 4:4, KJV: “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

I was finally discharged four days later when they were certain the baby was fine. However, I left with more abdominal pain than when I went in. The doctors could not pinpoint the cause of the pain.

Back home, the pain was still present after I rested. I knew that I needed supernatural intervention. Pastor Joseph Prince showed us how the Holy Communion gives healing to our physical bodies. So my husband and I partook of the Holy Communion that same evening.

When I woke up the next morning, I could feel that the pain had reduced significantly! We partook of the Holy Communion again and by the end of that day, I was completely pain-free! Praise God!

From then on, my pregnancy was smooth sailing as I continued to declare Exodus 23:25–26 over myself. When my baby son was due, he was in no hurry to get out at all. I even had to be induced. After a while, we decided to go ahead with the delivery by C-section.

Before I went in for the operation, I asked my husband to inform my sister. As soon as she received the news, she informed my parents, who prayed for me and partook of the Holy Communion on my behalf.

My son, Daniel, was finally born. As soon as I heard his cry, my heart sang and my eyes were filled with tears. It was the best feeling in the world!

Today, I am a proud mom of a beautiful baby boy. I am overwhelmed by the awesome love of Jesus. I am so grateful for Pastor Joseph Prince’s ministry, especially in these last days. Pastor Joseph Prince preaches the true gospel of grace that sets people free.
