Holiday Schedule Unaffected After Confessing Psalm 91
My family and I were on holiday in Tokyo DisneySea when my husband received a text message. It said that our flight home from Tokyo to Singapore the following day via a transit in Hong Kong had been cancelled due to Typhoon Haima.
My husband tried to contact the airline without success. He even asked our family in Singapore to contact the airline for us. Despite our concerns, I told him I felt the Lord’s peace about the situation and believed we would be able to return home as scheduled.
I confessed Psalm 91 twice as he continued to make more phone calls. As our young children were with us, we decided to extend our hotel stay for another night just to play it safe.
When we returned to our hotel room at night, the airline still remained uncontactable. The airline’s online booking system had also been down so my husband decided to go to the airport the next morning to make changes to our flight.
But just before midnight, he received another text message informing him that our flight from Tokyo to Singapore had been changed to another airline that would take us directly home without any transit in Hong Kong. In the end, we had an extra hour to make our way to the airport and even touched down in Singapore three hours ahead of our original flight’s schedule! Hallelujah!
What’s more, before our flight took off, my husband received an email from the hotel informing him that our payment for the one-night extension was being refunded even though it was supposed to be a non-refundable booking. Praise Jesus for His restoration!
