Inmates Receive Jesus After Learning About His Finished Work
I participate in a local ministry that ministers to immigrants in prison. Once a week, I minister to immigrants waiting to be deported to Mexico and Central and South America.
In early March, I was led to share on the finished work of Christ Jesus. My emphasis was on Jesus’ complete work in contrast to religious doctrines and works. I answered some questions and was preparing to close the meeting when an inmate suddenly stood up and began to share how he had grown up in a family of Satan worshipers in Central America. He said, “I have known and seen Satan but today, I want to give my life to Jesus Christ.”
I had not even made an altar call. But through the preaching of the gospel of grace alone, this inmate repented—changed his mind—and accepted the love of God as manifested in the redemptive and finished work of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Six others also made their decisions to receive Jesus that evening. Praise, honor, and glory to God!
Pastor Prince, I often hear you share about how your critics say that you do not preach on repentance. But now I have seen how people’s hearts are transformed and how repentance happens just through the proclamation of God’s love and grace.
Thank you for your message of God’s grace. I appreciate very much your ministry and hope to offer further testimonies of God’s grace.
