Instant Healing For Stabbing Knee Pain
While beginning our family vacation, my knee that had troubled me for many years suddenly felt like it was stabbed by a knife. I had never experienced such pain in that knee before and I thought I might have twisted it. The pain would not subside and I was in tears.
My husband helped me to my bed, where he elevated my knee and iced it. After forty-five minutes, it was not getting better at all and my husband even had to help me get dressed and put on my socks, as I could not rotate my foot.
That morning, my in-laws were supposed to take us out for breakfast but when they arrived, my husband had to help me out of the bedroom. I could not even put my toes on the floor without feeling the stabbing pain in my knee. But even with my husband’s help, I could not continue beyond the bedroom door and my sixteen-year-old son had to come and help me.
The two of them carried me into the living room and put me in the recliner. I told my family to go for their breakfast without me and they said they would bring back something for me. They left me with the television remote so I could watch TV while they were gone. As they were walking out the door, my youngest son, said, “I rebuke that pain in the name of Jesus!” In response, my sixteen-year-old said, “Mom, you just have to believe it!” I told him I would try to.
As I sat there alone, I envisioned myself in a wheelchair at the airport, trying to get on the plane to go home. I still had two weeks of vacation left and I could not even walk across the room! How was I going to manage? We had no doctors where we were staying and it was Thanksgiving week, so many doctors were on vacation anyway.
I turned on the TV and hunted for some of my favorite Christian programs. I found Joseph Prince’s program and settled back to watch. He was talking about Psalm 91 and had the congregation read along with him. I read the psalm out loud too with tears streaming down my face. I knew in my head that Jesus had paid for my healing but I was not seeing it happen.
Just then, God said to me, “If you went to a store and bought a book, who would own it?” I told Him, “I would own it if I had paid for it.” He replied, “Then the store wouldn’t own it anymore?” “No!” I responded, to which He said, “And Jesus has already ‘bought’ this pain of yours, so you don’t own it. It’s His.” “That’s right!” I said.
So I lowered the footrest of the recliner and put my feet on the floor and stood up. There was no pain in my knee and I walked across the living room completely pain free, when just before this, I could not even move my leg without feeling the stabbing pain! Praise Jesus!
