I had been struggling for a few months to find my first full-time job. This was despite graduating from a reputable university with good grades the year before and having several work experiences.

When I remained jobless even after applying to so many companies, I thought it was because the industry I wanted to work in was not doing well, and that my qualifications and working experiences were not good enough. In other words, I was finding reasons and excuses for my unemployment instead of believing Jesus for my ideal job.

When Pastor Prince declared 2016 to be the year of possessing our possessions, I believed with all my heart that I would finally land my first full-time job and prayed that Jesus would provide the perfect one for me.

In June 2016, I was scheduled for an interview with one of the companies that I had applied to. This is one of the largest companies in the world for this particular industry, and I wasn’t sure why I was even considered for the position as I had no relevant working experience.

To cut a long story short, the interview went well and I received a letter of offer from the company the following day. This position is also much more rewarding than the others I had applied for.

Words cannot describe how I felt when my long-awaited breakthrough finally came. I know for sure that it was not me, but God, who worked in me and enabled me to get this great job. God is good indeed.
