Led By His Voice, Saved From Trouble
Some months ago, my husband, daughter, and I were in Birmingham, Alabama, heading for lunch. After eating and having returned to the car, the Lord impressed upon me to turn the radio off and “just listen to the car,” something I would never have done on my own.
While we were still in the parking lot, my husband noticed a strange thumping sound. He stopped and found a large screw in a back tire. Yet, the tire was still inflated. My daughter and I went to the local Target store while my husband went to get the tire fixed. When my husband returned, he excitedly told us what the guy at the tire shop had said: “Since you are from out-of-town, there’s no charge. Have a good day!”
This may seem like an insignificant incident, but I realized that my Father would prefer we not get stranded on the side of a busy interstate away from home. Being led by His voice was the key. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for encouraging us to listen to His voice.
