Pastor Prince, I started listening to your sermons after getting to know about God’s grace from a friend a number of years ago.

When I got married in 2008, my wife and I started having disagreements for silly reasons. Even after we had our lovely daughter, she would still leave for her parents’ place whenever we had disagreements. Things got worse in 2012 and we separated. I was wrongfully accused and our lawyers were only interested in getting us divorced for monetary gain.

I missed my daughter when she was staying with my wife for eight months. It was the worst time of my life. But I knew God loves me and I believed He would work all things together for good. I surrendered my situation to Jesus, my heavenly Advocate. Later, my wife and I changed our lawyers. They worked at resolving our issues and we were reunited again.

In 2013, I lost my six-year job and was so depressed. My wife and I were separated once more and we lived apart for more than a year. This time, we were headed for divorce.

I continued to wait on the Lord. Then in 2016, you declared the year to be the year of possessing our possessions in Christ. I proclaimed this promise upon my life and a miracle happened. My wife realized our separation was affecting our daughter’s life. We also recognized we had our own faults and began to change for the better by God’s grace.

Our marriage has improved ever since. Sometimes we still have disagreements and I would ask God to come into our situation. The results have been amazing. My wife started listening to your sermons. She found it difficult to listen to English sermons but God gave her the wisdom to understand. By God’s grace, she has grown in maturity and no longer attempts suicide.

God also helped my daughter recover quickly after she was operated on for appendicitis. Today, my daughter prays for our family and has amazing faith in the Lord.

All these years, God has taught me to depend on Him no matter what. I have seen how much He loves me and witnessed what He can do for me. I realized that if something matters to me, it matters to Him. He is an amazing Father.

I thank the Lord for His wisdom and strength. I know our future is filled with goodness and abundance because of His finished work on the cross.
