No Evidence Of Third Stage Lymph Node Cancer After Taking Holy Communion
I was diagnosed with lymph node cancer in the middle of July 2012 with the presence of enlarged lymph nodes from my neck to my lower diaphragm. After many scans and tests, my cancer was confirmed to be in the third stage.
A couple of days after the diagnosis, God gave me a promise through Psalm 129:6—“Let them be as grass upon the housetops, which wither before it grows up.” At the same time, my family and I were listening to healing messages by various preachers and also to Pastor Joseph Prince’s message on the Holy Communion.
I am a liver transplant patient and so the doctors were reluctant to perform chemotherapy as they were worried that it may affect my liver grafting and result in rejection. Instead, they decided to administer a non-chemotherapy injection after consulting with oncologists in Delhi and Germany. According to them, this injection would control the growth of the cancer cells by a little. However, I would still have to proceed with chemotherapy after four cycles of the treatment. My doctor also added that just those injections alone would not be sufficient as it would have to take a miracle for me to experience total remission without chemotherapy.
During this period, God again confirmed His promise for me through Psalm 147:18—“He sendeth out His word, and melteth them.” My family and I clung on to these promises given by our Lord. We also started taking the Holy Communion six times daily.
Slowly, the enlarged lymph nodes shrank and within a month, they were reduced by more than 90 percent. When we went for our first cycle of the injection, the doctor examined me and said that the enlarged lymph nodes were hardly palpable, but I still had to go ahead with the injection. So I went through the treatment and by God’s grace, had none of the side effects that are commonly associated with it.
Within a week of taking the first dose of injection, the enlarged lymph nodes had become totally normal and the doctor couldn't feel the lumps. After four cycles of the non-chemotherapy injections, a PET scan was conducted on my body in October 2012 and I received a report that there is No Evidence of Disease (NED). This is the report we longed for when I was first diagnosed with the cancer! Praise the Lord! The doctor saw the scan report and confirmed that I didn’t need chemotherapy. This was totally by God’s grace!
Thank you, Pastor Prince, for your many inspiring messages, especially the message on the benefits of taking the Communion.
