No More Desire to Watch Porn and Use Profanity
Pastor Prince, I gave my life to Jesus over a year ago. I purchased my first Bible but became overwhelmed as I didn’t know how to interpret it. I prayed for some help, and the Holy Spirit led me to message a friend and fellow believer whom I had not been in contact with for a number of years. He suggested that I watch your sermons.
When I first searched for your sermons, I just wasn’t interested in watching them. I was used to watching short sermons on YouTube, and I never had a personal revelation of Jesus. A number of weeks went by before I finally watched one of your sermons. WOW! My life has never been the same from that day.
I learned how much Jesus loves me, how all my sins are forgiven, and how His broken body was given for my health. I learned the power of the holy Communion and have been partaking of it every day. I also got hold of your resources.
Your preaching has forever changed my life. I grew up and still live in a strict household that is full of condemnation and erroneous beliefs. It’s not uncommon to hear my parents say, “God is punishing them,” or “They have cancer because of their sins.” I am so grateful to the Lord for rescuing me from that dark pit.
Upon being born again, my use of profanity and viewing of pornography simply left me without any effort of my own. When my dad got infected with COVID-19, I felt at peace even when my mom was panicking. I knew that the battle was the Lord’s, and I was able to enjoy rest every night. I partook of the Lord’s supper, praying for my dad, and he made a full recovery after a month. Despite being in the same household as my dad, none of us were infected.
There is more. For 19 years, I have suffered from acne. I have been to the best dermatologists and used the most expensive creams and medications. Although the acne would subside, it never quite cleared and always returned. This affliction had kept me oppressed. I missed out on social gatherings, and I have not dated because of my lack of confidence. I have not even attended church gatherings because I really didn’t feel my best. I cried out to the Lord whilst partaking of the Lord's Supper daily. My skin is now 60 percent better than before, and I am believing the Lord for my 120 percent restoration.
