I am a nineteen-year-old college freshman living and studying in Los Angeles, California. My cousins who live in Singapore began attending New Creation Church four years ago, and ever since my mother and I saw transformation in their lives, we started listening to sermons by Pastor Joseph Prince.

My testimony is a short and simple one, but it is one of my favorite stories that I love to share with my friends.

Not long ago, I had a very important final speech to make for one of my college courses. Due to procrastination, I ended up preparing for it only at 4am on the day of the presentation itself, and set my alarm clock to go off at that time.

However, for the first time, my alarm failed to go off! As such, I woke up at 6:45am and began panicking! I only had fifteen minutes to get changed before driving to school. My speech was scheduled to begin at 8am, so it was clearly impossible for me to write a full-length speech and have it memorized in fifteen minutes.

Immediately, I blamed myself for procrastinating and convinced myself that God was unwilling to help me. Thinking that God wanted me to learn a lesson of not waiting till the last minute to do something important, I resigned to the thought of failing the speech component of my course.

However, at that point, the Holy Spirit prompted me saying, “Child, don’t cry. Come now, I will help you.” Then, I remembered one of Pastor Joseph Prince’s sermons in which he mentioned that it is when we reach “the end of our rope” that God multiplies His grace upon us.

Right after receiving that prompting, I decided to write my speech. Miraculously, I wrote an introduction and conclusion in fifteen minutes! While in the car on the way to school, I quickly wrote the body of my speech. Looking at the slipshod work, I felt so weak and unprepared. Although I was extremely grateful to God for helping me to write the speech so quickly, I was certain of not getting a good grade since my speech was nothing compared to those of my peers. They were more eloquent, brilliant, and they would have spent days preparing.

When the results came out, I was astounded to receive an exceptional grade for my speech! My speech teacher told me that she found my topic very insightful and interesting. I was more blown away when I found out that I did better than many of my peers!

The Lord’s grace and mercy had hit me in a real way. Although I was weak and undeserving of His help, He extended His help to me anyway. He helped me to do better than if I had tried to do it depending on my own efforts. God’s grace triumphed at the end of the day!

Truly, Pastor Prince’s message of Christ’s grace has changed my life dramatically. I live a life that many of my friends, including Christian ones, are envious of, because they see how good God has been to me. Even my pre-believing father frequently says, “Wow, you are so lucky that God loves you!”

I am so thankful for Pastor Prince’s wonderful ministry and I love Jesus so much! Thank you, Pastor Prince, for revealing Jesus’ abundant grace and love toward me!
