Pain In Shoulder Healed After Prayer
On a rainy day in October 2014, I slipped and fell on my side with full force. I didn’t notice anything at first because I was more concerned with trying to get the attention of my friend. Once I was seated in the train on my way home, I felt an intense pain in my right shoulder. Over the course of the next few days, the pain intensified until I could barely move my right arm without wincing in pain.
I believed God for my healing and faithfully partook of the Holy Communion. The pain in my shoulder remained and I could not play the cello, but I persevered and asked God to make my shoulder well enough so that I could at least play the cello in church as a volunteer in November and December.
Although the pain continued through the new year, I was thankfully able to play the cello in church at about seventy per cent of my usual ability. I thanked God for that, but I knew He wasn't finished yet.
On January 11, 2015, Pastor Prince prayed for healing and mentioned that there was someone with a frozen shoulder. I felt that he was referring to me! During the prayer, I felt an intense warmth in my shoulder, right on the spot where I had been injured.
Immediately after that, I felt an improvement but the shoulder was still not completely healed. I continued to tell myself that my healing had already begun. I believed firmly that Jesus has paid for my healing and that the affliction does not belong in my body.
Today, a week later, I have full motion in my shoulder and can play the cello again. In fact, I feel even stronger than before. All praise to Jesus!
