Painful Achilles Healed after Praying in the Spirit

Months ago, I noticed that the Achilles tendon of my right foot felt strange every time I pointed my toes. I didn’t think much of it because it was tolerable, but I prayed over it occasionally.

It reached a point where the pain was no longer tolerable. It felt like my Achilles tendon was stuck in a stretched position, and the surrounding regions felt inflamed. I couldn’t articulate my right foot fully, and whenever I did, it would hurt a lot. The condition caused me to walk with a limp. The worst part was that I had a dance recital planned, and I was concerned I would not be able to perform!

I kept praying until I remembered something Joseph Prince spoke about in a recent sermon and something my mum encouraged me to do: pray in the Spirit. I remembered that it is the Holy Spirit who gives life to our mortal bodies (Rom. 8:11) and that I could pray in the Spirit for my healing.

I did so before going to bed, when I was bored, or while studying. My right foot still hurt on the first day, but by the next day, I saw a 30-fold manifestation of healing and 60-fold the day after. Today I can fully point my toes without pain! If I had known this earlier, I would have saved myself many months of discomfort!

I am so thankful for Joseph Prince’s ministry and the pastors at his church. Most of all, I am so grateful to the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit!
