After I finished my semester in design, I hoped for a good grade. To my greatest surprise, my result showed “FAIL.” This meant I had to repeat the course for another year or drop out of school.

Even my lecturer was surprised by my grade. I felt like there was no hope for me. My heart was full of fears and I hid this news from my parents to avoid worrying them. I began to hear and meditate on God’s promises by listening to Pastor Prince’s sermons.

Later, I met my studio mentor and explained my situation. He said he would look into the matter on my behalf and told me not to worry. After 2 days, he called me to say that the department of architecture had organized a jury for me. I was shocked as this had never happened before. God had favored me in a way I had never before experienced.

I brought my old drawing on the day of the jury. But to my greatest surprise, I was told that I had passed my course and that the jury would not be needed anymore.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your grace and love toward me. And thank you, Pastor Prince, for teaching me to hear and meditate on God’s Word and grace.
