Phone Lost In Airport Returned
While leaving the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) earlier in the year, my daughter’s brand-new cell phone fell out of her pocket. She only realized it after we arrived home and became very upset. We cried out to Jesus and pleaded His blood over the phone. We also confessed that we are the righteousness of God in Christ.
We drove back to LAX to search for the phone but could not find it. My daughter used my cell phone to call hers, and after dialing about fifteen times, a man finally answered. He said he was an hour away from LAX and agreed to meet us to return the phone. When we got to the meeting place, he was not there and was no longer answering our calls. We continued to plead the blood of Jesus and confess our righteousness in Christ.
After waiting for thirty minutes and almost giving up, I called my daughter’s phone one more time and the man answered. This time, he said he was another two hours away from where we were. I started to wonder if we were being led on a wild goose chase. Nevertheless, I felt the Lord urging us to pursue this matter like David and his men at Ziklag (see 1 Sam. 30:8).
We drove the two-hour journey and I felt my faith begin to wane. Then we decided to completely rely on Jesus’ faith (not ours) and continued to plead the blood of Jesus over the phone. Finally, we met the man and he returned the phone to my daughter. Thank You, Jesus—Your blood is indeed all-powerful!
Jesus really loves us and takes care of us—the righteous children of God in Christ. Amen!
