Since January 2014, I have been listening to Pastor Prince’s sermons and reading his daily devotionals. I also started reading his book, Destined To Reign, in February 2014. These resources have always left me feeling very blessed and encouraged. They have changed my perspective of God. I have also learned to rest in the finished work of Christ and in His unmerited favor.

One of my prayer requests since 2013 was to have a career change—to move to a better job with a higher salary. I applied for many jobs but had no success. However, I was encouraged by Pastor Prince’s sermon that taught that when I work, God rests, but when I rest, God works. I was also very encouraged by Pastor Prince’s sharing of how Daddy God knows how to place me at the right place at the right time for the right things to happen. So with faith in His provision, I started thanking Daddy God every day for the new, better job that He had in store for me.

In mid-October 2014, I applied for a job in an industry that I liked. The company that I sent my application to had not put out any job advertisements, but by His unmerited favor, they contacted me and asked me to come for an interview. Not only did I pass all three rounds of interviews, I was also offered the job and a salary that was better than what I had expected. It is not easy to get hired by this organization, but by God’s grace I was picked.

All thanks to my Daddy God, who answered my prayer exceedingly, abundantly, above all that I asked for or imagined. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for preaching the gospel of grace.
