Received Dream Job Supernaturally

I graduated with a degree in Science and worked in a laboratory for three years before switching to an insurance company for its flexible working hours. After two years, I missed working in the science industry, so I took up an additional part-time job in this field while remaining in my insurance job.

I would hitch rides from a colleague who lived nearby because my part-time job was located far away. When I found out she was resigning, I thought about how tiring it would be to commute to work without her.

One day, I received a text message from an unknown person who invited me to an interview after viewing my résumé online. I was surprised, as I did not remember posting my résumé on the Web. It must have been a few years back when I was looking for my first job.

While chatting with the person, I realized the job scope was what I’d always wanted to do in the science industry. He was also very encouraging even though I told him I was out of touch with the industry and might not be the right candidate for the job. Immediately, we fixed an interview appointment on August 5 at 5pm.

Before the interview, I had been reading Pastor Prince’s book, Provision Promises. I was super impacted by his teachings on resting in God’s grace for provision. As a result, I went to an interview without stress or worry for the first time. In fact, I was so joyful that I laughed out loud during the session and even shared how God had healed people instantly when I laid hands on them and prayed.

Later, I thought my not-so-serious conduct had spoiled up my chances of being selected. Nevertheless, I felt in my spirit that the job was for me and even began to prepare a testimony about it in faith. A week after, I received the good news that I had been selected for the position! Hallelujah!

I started my new job on the first day of September, which happened to be my colleague’s last day at my former part-time job. My contract with the insurance company also ended around the same time. Indeed, God is always on time!

Everything happened smoothly and with such timeliness. I had been thinking about having a dream job like this, and before I could finish reading Pastor Prince’s book, this supernatural provision landed right in my hands! All I did was simply rest in God’s grace and shalom-peace.
