Since the latter half of 2014, I have been trying to get a job after I left previous my job as an interior designer. But the hunt was so disappointing. Even after applying for more than 500 jobs, there were still no offers. This got me worried and I asked God to direct me and show me if I should just go and further my studies.

Not long after, I was led to a job advertisement posted online. The job description matched my work experience. So I submitted my application and asked God to open doors and grant me favor if He thought this was the job for me. A day or two later, I was called up for an interview. I started praising God and thanking Him for this open door.

On the day of the interview, I was very calm throughout, and was able to answer the questions that came. Within an hour of the interview, I received a call telling me that I had been offered the job. Imagine my joy! God restored to me a job and ended my worries.

When the human resource department went through the salary and benefits with me, I realized that the salary alone was at least two to three times more than what I would have been paid had I been in a similar role in other companies. They even offered good incentives on top of the basic salary if the store’s target was met. Not only that, I was now part of a listed conglomerate that owns at least twenty brands all over the world. This meant that there would be many opportunities for my career growth.

Thank you, Pastor Prince, for always teaching us to look to Jesus and work from a position of rest. It truly is all about Jesus.

Thank you, God, for my very first restoration of 2015. I believe that there is more to come for my family and friends too. My joy and peace have truly returned. Keep believing and your restoration will come soon too! Amen!
