Received Three Pay Raises Despite COVID-19

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States, my hours at work were changed while shortages in supplies caused prices to rise. My employers also said we would not be getting our yearly cost-of-living raise, which didn’t help relieve the sinking feeling I’d been experiencing.

As a single mom of 2 children, I was stressed. I started increasing my listening to Pastor Prince’s sermons, some days bombarding myself with his sermons. It was what I did whenever I was stressed, panicky, sick, or depressed.

Just 2 months later, my employers changed their mind and gave me the raise. Things got even better a month later when I received a promotion and another raise, something I’d been praying about for the last 2 years. Abba Father blessed me again some weeks later with another raise for job equality.

The Lord is awesome. I went from looking at no pay increment last year to 3 pay increments within a few months with no shortage in hours! Thanks be to our heavenly Father for supplying in all things.
