Recovery from Stroke after Feeding on the Gospel of Grace
Pastor Prince, I had a severe stroke in 2016 that was caused by a blood clot at the brain stem. I became instantly paralyzed. I could not sit up, stand, or walk. I could move my right arm but couldn’t sit up to even feed myself. But I had unexpected peace and hope. I attribute that largely to all I’d learned from you and your ministry in the last 4 or 5 years.
I read your book Destined to Reign and watched your sermons often. I cannot express the enlightenment, understanding, and answers I received. It gave me new hope and joy as a Christian. It was more than a refreshing—it was new life, like being born again all over again! However, I also watched other Christian ministries on television at that time.
In my recovery process, the Lord instructed me to feed on your teachings on the gospel of grace, and I did it exclusively. I ate hungrily, was well-fed, and grew! After nearly 2 weeks of physical therapy, I could suddenly stand one day. That was miraculous! I improved quickly at first, and then it slowed.
But I heard you teach that healing is sometimes incremental. So I was patient and continued to trust God. I had listened to Him regarding other prayer requests over the years, and He had caused them to manifest. He took good care of me this time too. I was able to stop taking all prescription medications for type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure!
I am about 90 percent healthy now and still use a cane. He instructed me to exercise more, which I am doing slowly. Thanks to God for you and your ministry. It is truly life-giving! God bless you and yours in all areas of life!
