Relationship with Mother-in-Law Improved
Last year, I discovered and got addicted to the gospel of grace. I began to read many books and listen to Joseph Prince’s sermons.
Soon after this, my husband wanted to take our family for a holiday over Resurrection Sunday. We decided to bring our 2 kids to visit my mother-in-law, who’s a widow, before the trip. Before I knew the gospel of grace, I used to fear her and didn’t have a positive opinion of her.
During our visit, I cooked for her. From then on, our sour relationship began to turn as sweet as honey. Since then, I’ve been going to visit her with my husband. I’ve also been shopping for her. Even my husband has acknowledged the difference in our relationship.
One day, I called her in the morning and was greeted with so much love. She told me that she wanted me to join her for all important family events. I know only grace could have made this happen.
The other day, I found my car keys that I’d lost a few years ago. They had fallen under my shelf in the office. My office is cleaned daily, yet no one had seen the keys (and stolen them). My heavenly Father is restoring my life bit by bit. Hallelujah!
